In a previous post, I described how I used primary sources and picture books to introduce my second-grade students to the history of the Christmas Bird Count, the longest-running citizen science project in the world. A Masterclass in Teaching from Mission Control
Like many others, I was glued to live coverage of the Artemis II mission all last week. Having grown up with NASA’s space shuttle program, watching a new crew launch into space was exciting, and yes, anxiety-provoking.
